Data collected

The website collects the data that users voluntarily enter in the availability request form:

• full name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• stay dates, number of guests and any message.

The form does not send data to a server: it opens the user's own email programme, and the user remains the sender of the message. Data therefore reaches the controller by email only.

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed in order to reply to enquiries, check availability and prepare a quote. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Retention

Data is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where a stay is confirmed, for the periods required by tax law and by the rules on reporting guests to the competent authorities.

Disclosure to third parties

Data is neither published nor sold to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be disclosed to the email service provider, to the controller's tax advisers and to the authorities in the cases provided for by law.

Third-party content

The "Location" section offers a map provided by Google Maps, which is loaded only after an explicit click by the user. Details are set out in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Data subjects may at any time exercise the rights granted by Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Requests may be sent to gelsominacountryhouse@gmail.com.

A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
